January 9, 2017: The plant is up and running. The temporary emergency contact for problems  is Mark Deimler. 717-413-9857.  Once a permanent emergency contact has been appointed, each property owner will be contacted directly by first-class mail. An email will also be sent to any property owner for whom we have one.

The prorated bill for actual use in  2016 has been mailed along with information for setting up automatic payments. Future billings will be quarterly. Any questions should be directed to Connie Kauffman. Her hours are Wednesday and Friday 9-5. 717-687-6233.

September 29, 2016: You can expect to receive a certified letter in the mail within the next two weeks notifying you of the mandatory sewer connection and the steps to accomplish it.

August 18, 2016 update: IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We would like to provide you with a revised electrical specification for the grinder pump connection.    Please note this important change and advise your electrician as appropriate:

The homeowner is required to install a dedicated 30A breaker to supply the grinder pump.  The wire from the breaker to the control panel outside shall be three (3) #10 WG wires and one (1) #10 WG Ground NOT  #12 wires as previously indicated in the  homeowners guide for connection.

August 16, 2016 update:

All grinder pumps and control panels are installed and final restoration of all disturbed areas will start in 2 weeks.

May 31, 2016 update:

Sewage Treatment plant construction will begin next week with a completion date of mid-September.

Low pressure sewer installation is complete with only a few grinder pumps remaining.  Installation of the control panels for the grinder pumps will continue.   Pressure testing of the sewer main has  been completed.

The contractor has ceased work until the week of June 20th.  All grinder pumps and control panels will be installed by the end of July.

Restoration of all lawn areas will also commence on June 20th.

April 28, 2016 Update:

All directional drilling is completed on the main lines and laterals.  Pressure testing on the main lines will begin the week of May 2nd.

The contractor will continue to set grinder pump tanks in the Main Street area and that work should be completed the week of May 9th.  They will then move to other areas of the system installing grinder pump tanks and control panels.

Treatment plant construction will commence in full force in early June.

Previous information:

THEY WILL BE INSTALLING SEWER LINE IN THE ALLEY BETWEEN CHURCH ST AND MAIN ST  FROM REFTON RD AND IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY/ALLEY STARTING AT 46 REFTON RD AND CONTINUING EAST TO BEAVER VALLEY PIKE.

Expect more earth disturbance on your property than you have seen up to now.   The contractors will be digging an approximately 4 foot wide by 8 foot deep hole where the stake was placed. The holes will be back-filled and reseeding will be done all at once at the completion of the installations.

4×4 posts will be installed for the alarm box and pump controls.
