Road Closures in Strasburg Township 2026 & 2027, according to the Department of Transportation (PennDOT)

Starting in fall 2026, Bunker Hill Road will be closed to traffic between Deiter Road and Weaver Road for six months so crews can replace a bridge over Little Beaver Creek. The detour route will use Weaver Road, May Post Office Road and Shaub Road.

For six months beginning in spring 2027, May Post Office Road will be closed between Sides Mill Road and Reservoir Road. Crews will replace underground metal pipes carrying a tributary of Little Beaver Creek with a new precast concrete box culvert. The detour route will use Weaver Road, Bunker Hill Road and Shaub Road.

During both projects, all driveways in the work area will remain accessible.
